The CEO of Turkish company Tutmas said the firm is planning cooperation with Iranian partners to produce high-quality goods in Iran and export them to regional markets.
Speaking on the sidelines of IranPlast 2025, Kerem Caymaz said this was his second visit to Iran, following an initial trip aimed at identifying potential clients.
“This time, I’m here to deepen connections and gain a clearer understanding of the market,” he stated.
Tutmas intends to establish a long-term presence in Iran by selling quality products and building infrastructure for sustained collaboration with local companies, Caymaz added while referring to the company’s plans.
“We are considering a joint venture with an Iranian partner to begin production here,” he said, adding, “This would enable exports to neighboring countries such as Turkey, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and other Middle Eastern markets.”
He added that Tutmas is prepared to provide technical support and raw materials to its Iranian partner to ensure adequate production capacity within the country.
Visiting the exhibition marked the first step toward building these partnerships, Caymaz said, stating, “Fortunately, we’ve been able to establish effective connections with relevant companies and customers.”
Emphasizing Iran’s strategic importance in Tutmas’s development plans, he said he would make more frequent visits to advance negotiations with importers, exporters, and manufacturers in the chemical and adhesives sectors.
“Our ultimate goal is to secure a stable commercial position in the Iranian market and expand our operations across the region,” he said.
Iran’s 19th International Exhibition of Raw Material, Plastics, Rubber, Machinery and Equipment, known as IranPlast 2025, opened on September 8 at Tehran International Permanent Fairgrounds.
