A Tajik businessman visiting IranPlast 2025 said Iranian companies have made remarkable progress in manufacturing equipment for plastics industry, expressing interests in sourcing machinery for use in Tajikistan-based factories.

Sayali Imloev, who is part of a seven-member Tajik business delegation visiting IranPlast 2025, stated that their visit is aimed at evaluating Iran’s polymer and plastics market and engaging in negotiations with Iranian counterparts.

“This is my first time visiting IranPlast. The progress Iranian companies have made in plastic manufacturing is impressive,” Imloev said, adding, “We hope that by the end of this four-day event, we can reach constructive outcomes through negotiations with Iranian firms.”

Imloev cited the evaluation of production equipment in the polymer and plastics sectors as a key reason for his visit, noting his intention to explore purchasing options from Iranian suppliers.

He added that his company is already engaged in construction-related trade with Iranian partners in Mashhad and expressed hope that such cooperation would expand into other sectors.

Iran’s 19th International Exhibition of Raw Material, Plastics, Rubber, Machinery and Equipment, known as IranPlast 2025, kicked off on September 8 in Tehran and will run to September 11.

The event was inaugurated by Hassan Abbaszadeh, Deputy Oil Minister and CEO of Iran’s National Petrochemical Company, alongside senior officials from Iran’s oil and petrochemical sectors.
